Late to Love Concert coming August 28 and Sept 19 2014 Catholic soul album based on the Confessions of St. Augustine.

vancouver catholic concert

On August 28th, Wiseblood Records and iTunes are proud to release *Late to Love,* a Catholic soul album based on the Confessions of St. Augustine. Regent College will host a CD release concert and St. Mark’s College will host a concert on Sept. 19th.

In Evangelii Gaudium, Pope Francis asks us to make use of the arts and use “contemporary expressions” to evangelize — and that is exactly what this project does.

For a limited time, you can listen to the whole album for free! If you want help to publicize this local event, please be in touch.

“If, as Saint Augustine says, we love only that which is beautiful, the incarnate Son, as the revelation of infinite beauty, is supremely lovable and draws us to himself with bonds of love. So a formation in the via pulchritudinis ought to be part of our effort to pass on the faith. Each particular Church should encourage the use of the arts in evangelization, building on the treasures of the past but also drawing upon the wide variety of contemporary expressions so as to transmit the faith in a new ‘language of parables.'”
Pope Francis, Evangelii Gaudium
